About Allen Stafford

“Nothing in life is more important than the ability to communicate effectively.”

-Gerald Ford. former U.S.A. President

Communication is a complex process. Poor communication can break relationships, while effective communication can elevate personal or business relationships. The idea of becoming a better communicator and forging healthy and lasting relationships drove me to pursue a degree as an undergraduate in Communication from the University of Southern California.

A graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with an MBA in Business Analytics and Digital Marketing, I have more than 20 years of marketing, graphic design, radio broadcasting, and photography experience. Along with my stint in the U.S. Army Reserves, I have worked in various roles dealing with verbal and visual communications to create messages that profoundly affect people.

Communication is key to any healthy relationship. It is vital to understand the nuances of communication and how to navigate human perception through verbal and visual communication manipulation to create solid and lasting relationships with family, friends, co-workers, your community, and the general public. For this reason, I make it my goal to help others become effective communicators so that they can express themselves in a way that allows their listeners to understand their requests better.

My website, AllenStafford.com, is new and growing. The site’s ultimate goal is to provide resources for people seeking to become effective communicators.

Authenticity:
I am committed to being authentic by being real and honest with myself and others, by owning my vulnerabilities and accepting my humanness. I am open, transparent, vulnerable, and courageous in self-disclosing and sharing with others who I am.

Courage:
I am committed to having the courage and conviction of being and doing what is integral for me, by taking risks, being bold, and unreasonable by asking more of myself than I ask of others.
